One Week in Korea - Day 2.

 So.

It's the second day in Korea and I'm in Jeju Island!

Seriously the days in Jeju Island actually disappointed me as I thought I will be staying at somewhere near beach.

But then.
Sigh~
Nevermind.

The first schedule for the second day : 일출봉

Had a deep impression towards this place.

The final dating destination for JoongBo couple!

Early in the morning first schedule is asking us to climb the mountain.

Such a healthy journey.

However,

I managed to reach the topppppppp!

See.

I have proof.

I can still remember the wind was so strong throughout the whole journey.

Almost blow me away.

Nah.

Just kidding lar.

I'm so fucking heavy.

Almost blow my scarf and my ear away.

Too cold.

It will frozen my ear and chop it off through the wind.

Insane weather.

But i miss it.

Actually there are some super nice glares from the cloud.

Next destination : The native village.

Ah I really dislike this.

It was really fucking cold that time.

And the place is outdoor.

So my mood was kinda frozen as well.

You can see how cold am I.

I'm still shivering even though I'm wrapping myself up.

Soooooooo fucking cold.

I don't miss that cold.

No no.

But there's snow when we're going to leave.

But,

really moodless already.

Next : Lunch!

Actually,

taste kinda same as normal pork.

Maybe the place they brought us is to suit foreigner's appetite.

I swear I wanna try originalsssssss when I visit Korea for the next time.

Everything in original.

Even though it might be so spicy until my taste buds gone insane.

Next destination : The Wax Museum.

But actually there are nothing much over there.

Sooooooooo small.

But a very interesting wax man sleeping on the bench outside the museum,

and he's "breathing"!!!

So damn real.

Haha.

Next destination : 3D Museum - Trick Art Musuem

This museum is aweeeeeeeeeeeeesome!!!

Seriously.

AWESOME!

But the photos are not so awesome.

Next time I must bring a better cam,

and go with someone who can take better photos.

Next destination : Teddy Bear Museum!!

It has a total of 3 stories full of teddy bearssssssssssssss!

Actually it's not so big only lar.

But there are lotsssssssssssss of teddy inside!

With different costume,

different theme.

But there are not nice ones also lar.

Hehe. 

The most expensive teddy in the musuem - The LV Teddy.

The LV he's wearing is really from LV.

And he still have a bag beside.

Soooooooooooooooo fucking expensive.

But so yeng lor.

 The second dinner in Jeju - The original 한식

Actually I don't feel what so original also lar.

Sigh.

Gonna go for self travelling next time.

Never follow any travel agency.

And after dinner that night,

it was only around 8pm.

So,

the original plan was following the gang that I join to club in Jeju!

But then.

Sigh.

Due to some problem,

I can't join.

Then went for a little walk at the same street with my mum.

And get some free wifi.

And going back hotel,

continue using the laoya computer.

There goes my second day in Korea~

One Week in Korea - Day 1.

I finally went Korea!!

Actually it is still so unbelievable.

I feel normal even the days before I'm leaving.

So normal that I feel no....desperation or excitement at all.

Except for the night before,

where I have to pack the thick thick clothes,

I started to have a little feeling.

But still..

It is so unreal even till now.

My flight was at 23:10pm on 20th Dec.

Before starting my post I would like to thank you someone special~

Someone who keep calling me before I depart,

accompanying me until I got into the plane.

And so~

I didn't take photo of Korea Airline as I'm taking night flight.

Got into the middle seat on the left,

Mum sitting on the left,

a girl sitting on my right.

She was talking on the phone,

in super fluent and with I'm not sure what slang English,

until the moment the plane need to fly.

I thought she was quite,

ego.

Coz her attitude and stuff,

gave me this kind of feeling.

LOL.

And I planned to watch Captain America on plane,

but watch till halfway,

not even half,

I was too sleepy,

then I slept,

for around 3 hours.

Then woken up by the light and noise at around 4am.

They are serving breakfast at 4am in the plane.

Wtf.

But I woke,

and the girl beside starts talking to me.

Her name is Bonnie and she's Korean.

Studying in Sunway KL taking i-already-forgotten-what-course.

And plans to go to Canada after her studies in Sunway.

Well,

had a nice chat with her for about 2 hours after I woke till the plane lands.

Anyway,

한국 도착!!

Arriving Korea at around 6.30am their time.

And we suppose to fly to Jeju Island at 1pm.

Since there are still hours in between,

my leng zai tour guide (lztg) decided to bring us visiting somewhere else before flying to Jeju.

And~

We went to 청와대 - 青瓦台.

The South Korean politic building,

and the place where their president stays.

And mr lztg says that this will be his house 10 years later.

Ermmmmmm.

Can't really see the building.

But can see a little bit green roof.

That's why it been called 青瓦台.

Hehehee.

And this!

I forgot,

what the phoenix behind called,

and what this spot called.

My memory is so.............undependable.

But is was not-so-cold that time.

And actually I feel the phoenix thing is not so special so..................

And from 청와대 we walk to the old time palace of their king.

Sorry I forgot what it called again.

But the scenery is sooooooooooo awesome!!

He taught us the word - 배.

And there is another mui mui know how to read hangul too.

He didn't know that I studied some hangul by that time.

It was soooooooooo freaking cold that day,

that almost all of us can't bare with it.

So,

we walk fast fast,

see fast fast,

listen fast fast,

photo also hard to take as all of us are so cold.

Too cold to pull my hand out of my pocket.

Then,

we move to our next destination - lunch.

Today's lunch : 비빔밥!!

Rice in stone...?

Anyway it is called 石锅拌饭 in mandarin.

And I feel it so so only lor.............

But everyone else says it's very nice.

Hmmmmm.

Not bad lar~

After lunch we're leaving Seoul,

to Gimpo Airport,

going to Jeju Island.

And and and I saw a very big JYJ Lotte advertisement board in Gimpo!

From Seoul to Jeju is roughly 1 hour flight.

But it was too rush while reaching Jeju airport and it was so colddddddddd.

So no photos taken.

I think this is the first destination after we reach Jeju?

If I am not mistaken lar..

This is 도깨비도로 - Bugaboo Road - 神奇之路.

Why is it so special?

It's just a road.

But then,

from what your eye sees,

the road is going upwards.

But then when your car put in free gear,

the car will be moving.

It is actually an optical illusion.

The road is actually facing downwards but from the eye it seems like facing upwards.

After that we went to 용두암 - 龙头岩.

And it's raining!

Drizzling a little.

This 2 statues are the protection god of Jeju.

According to 재붕씨,

if you want a smarter brain,

touch the head.

If you want to born a baby boy,

touch the nose.

If you want more wealth,

touch the tummy.

And yes i want a smarter brain.

I feel it is quite nice~

While other people feel it's normal.

And and and.

Me and my mum,

almost finish this 4 people portion.

Well,

basically my mum had 1 portion,

i had almost 3 people portion.

....Yea.

After the dinner,

we back to hotel,

and the hotel was so damn lousy,

has no wifi even at the lobby.

But then there are a super lousy desktop at the lobby,

and i can barely log into fb and msn.

But still,

better than none.

:D

After that went for a little walk at the street near hotel.

Once again,

I forgot the name of the street.

I feel I'm such a failure.

Next time I must snap the name of the street.

I swear!

And thanks to some generous shop owners,

I can get some wifi when I'm walking.

:D

After the first walking session with mum and 4 other tour mates,

I had my second walking session with Emily - tour guide from Malaysia.

We did window shopping as the things are soooooooo costly,

and!!!!!

We ate 떠버기 - Fried rice cake!!

It was soooooooooo spicy omg!

Eat till i cry.

After that I thought of having the wintermelon ice cream to cool the spice.

Well,

kinda cooled 30% of the spice,

but it also cooled 70%  of my body temperature.

I was shivering when I'm going back to hotel.

So cold so cold so cold!!

The warmest time is when I'm back into hotel room,

and hide in the blanket.

So there goes my first day.
